March 14, 2025Industry News

In a huge step forward, Windsor Capital Management is pleased to share the following update received from the St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) today. Most notably, testing is underway of the new digital portal that will be used to process applications. The full launch of the digital portal is intended to be at the end of March/early April.

Digitizing the processing of applications will enable us to monitor clients' application progress in real time, whilst also streamlining the process to make it more efficient.

Special recognition goes to the Honourable Prime Minister for his strong leadership, ensuring the program's ongoing success despite international pressures, and to the Executive Chairman of the St. Kitts CIU Board of Governors and his outstanding team for staying true to their mission.

10 Key Improvements in the pipeline for St. Kitts & Nevis CBI Program:

  • Digital Application Process: Soon we will see the removal of the need for paper submission and real-time access for authorized agents to track applications from submission to approval.
  • Children up to age 30 as Dependents: Expanding the age range for dependent children means enhanced family inclusivity.
  • Parents Can Sponsor Children: A more flexible way for parents to support their children's CBI journey.
  • Children Can Sponsor Parents: Broadening the scope for family-based applications.
  • Policy for High-Risk Jurisdictions: A new policy will be shared by the St. Kitts CIU in the coming weeks to address applicants from countries identified as high risk, such as Iraq and Iran, without compromising due diligence standards.
  • Ukrainian Applicants Accepted: The St. Kitts CBI program is now processing applications for Ukrainian citizens.
  • Streamlined Name Change Process: An efficient way to handle name changes, while ensuring no impact on due diligence.
  • Addition of Family Members: A more consistent approach to the process for adding family members post-CBI application.
  • Expanded Market Reach: New markets showing strong interest in the CBI program, proving the global appeal of St. Kitts & Nevis citizenship.
  • Banking Options: Enhancing client experience with improved banking options to the benefit of each St. Kitts & Nevis CBI applicant.

These game-changing developments promise to make the St. Kitts & Nevis Citizenship by Investment program more accessible, efficient, and transparent than ever before.
